The Young Liberal Movement is a vibrant organisation that offers young people who are between 16 and 30 years of age the opportunity to actively participate in the political process in Australia.
The Young Liberal Movement aims to be a vehicle for young people to have a voice in our society, and speak out about a whole range of issues, from local or community based issues to topics with international significance.
As a Young Liberal, your ideas can make a difference. You can become involved in developing policies that can be implemented by a Liberal Government at Local, State or Federal level.
Many Liberal politicians began their career in the Movement. In fact the former Prime Minister, the Hon John Howard, is a former President of the NSW Young Liberals as are many State and Federal Members of Parliament.
Our state patron is the Honourable Natasha Maclaren-Jones MLC, our federal patron is Alex Hawke MP, and our organisational patron is Scott Farlow - who also holds the record for the longest serving Young Liberal President in the organisation's history.
The Young Liberal motto this year is "Developing Tomorrow's Leaders". Consider becoming involved — it is a rewarding and exciting experience for all of us.
